Support to legislative alignment with EU acquis in Georgia: legal comparative analysis and drafting law amendments/regulations on trade secrets
In line with the commitments of the DCFTA and the EU accession process, the purpose of this activity is to produce a legal comparative analysis of the respective EU-Georgian legislation on trade secrets. This analysis will assess the level of alignment between European and Georgian law.
International IP Enforcement Summit
The IP enforcement summit is organised every 2 years brings together key European and international decision-makers, law enforcement authorities, multinational companies, SMEs, consumer representatives, and other relevant players to discuss ways to improve protection and enforcement of IP rights

In March 2022, the European Commission published a proposal for a regulation on agricultural GIs, followed by a proposal for a regulation on craft and industrial geographical indications (CIGIs), published in April 2022.
Annual stakeholder's workshop
The objective of this activity is to engage with stakeholders and promote the results of the project annually and on a rotating basis by highlighting the benefits it will bring to the respective national IP systems of Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine.
Study visits: strengthen network with EU Customs
This activity will organise a study visit in tentatively 2 Member States, with EU Customs for an ‘on the job’ exchange of best practices to learn working procedures at different EU strategic points; airports, ports and relevant offices, based on case incidents and specific risk analysis.

The main objective of this activity is to support the effective implementation of the new law in Georgia on Patent attorneys and the development of a set of regulatory acts by assessing existing EU MS practices.
Study visit of UANIPIO to the EUIPO
This activity aims to facilitate peer exchanges between a delegation from UANIPIO with selected departments from the EUIPO.
Implementation of Image Search to TMview and DesignView in AGEPI and Sakpatenti
Taking into consideration that the data from trade mark and design right holders at Sakpatenti and AGEPI are already integrated into the EUIPN tools TMview and DesignView, this activity will aim at implementing the image search function into TMView and DesignView for both IP Offices.
Integration of IP Administration Tools (EUIPN search and classification databases) in UANIPIO
The European Union Intellectual Property Network has created a number of tools to facilitate the trade mark registration workflows with functionality ranging from search or classification to entire front office and back office systems used by EU National and Regional IP offices.

Through this joint event, the EUIPO and the CPVO have objectives such as the exchange of information on IP and specifically on matters falling under the responsabilities of both agencies; networking opportunities between stakeholders to foster knowledge sharing and cooperation synergies.
