Targeted capacity building on patents

Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine achieved different progress in terms of approximation with the European Patent Convention (EPC). Beyond the necessary legal framework to comply with EU acquis and the European Patent Convention, the objective of this activity is to facilitate, in cooperation with the EPO, the progress in the implementation of the Validation Agreement and to foster alignment with European patent standards and procedures in the process of joining as a full member of the EPC.
