Support to legislative alignment with EU acquis in Georgia: legal comparative analysis and drafting law amendments/regulations on copyrights and related rights

In line with the commitments of the DCFTA and the EU accession process, the purpose of this activity is to produce a legal comparative analysis of the respective EU-Moldovan legislation on copyrights and related rights. This analysis will assess the level of alignment between European and Moldovan law and assess the discrepancies between the two systems. The expected result is to analyse the respective differences between the two legal frameworks with the ultimate objective of facilitate a set of recommendations for amendments to law and by-laws to align with the EU acquis.

In line with the commitments of the DCFTA and the EU accession process, the purpose of this activity is to produce an assessment of the respective EU-Moldovan legal framework on trade marks. This analysis will assess the level of alignment between European and Moldovan law that will enter into force in 2027. The expected result is to analyse the respective differences between the two legal frameworks with the ultimate objective of facilitate a set of recommendations for amendments to law and drafting by-laws to align with the EU acquis.
