The EU-RoK IP Action Enters Its Third Year Following High-Level Engagement

The European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) enters the third year of implementation of the EU-RoK IP Action in the Republic of Korea. Launched in 2024, the project has become a key mechanism for aligning IP frameworks, supporting businesses and combating counterfeiting in Korea, with a particular focus on the digital world.

The EUIPO supports Ukraine’s participation in the meeting of the Expert Group on Industrial Property Policy

The European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), through the EU-funded EU4IP project, supported the participation of two Ukrainian representatives in the meeting of the Expert Group on Industrial Property Policy (GIPP), which took place on 17 February 2026 in Brussels.

The meeting was organised by the European Commission and brought together EU Member States and relevant stakeholders to take stock of the progress made in implementing the Commission Recommendation on measures to combat counterfeiting and enhance the enforcement of intellectual property rights.

JPO and EUIPO Strengthen Cooperation on Generative AI and Examination Quality

Welcome, Timor-Leste: A New Chapter in ASEAN Cooperation and Intellectual Property Development

The European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), in the context of the EU-funded SCOPE IPR project, extends their warmest congratulations to the Government and people of Timor-Leste on the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste becoming the 11 Member State of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) on 26 October 2025, at the 47th ASEAN Summit in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This historic milestone marks the culmination of years of commitment and preparation by Timor-Leste and its ASEAN partners toward deeper regional integration, cooperation and shared prosperity.
