INPI Brazil, one of the largest IP offices in the world, is undertaking active measures towards the modernization of its office’s processes as part of their National Strategy of Intellectual Property (ENPI). Key objectives are to achieve greater efficiency, simplify procedures, and improve the cost-benefit relation within the IP system in order to improve IP examination and registration processes.
A study visit to the EUIPO fits into their strategy to obtain knowledge about setting targets and measuring performance using service charters from experienced IPOs.
