IPO staff expert-meetings session II of 2024: Knowledge exchanges on Guidelines for examination of trade marks in MERCOSUR countries and Chile

The event is organised by the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) by means of the EU-funded IP cooperation project AL-INVEST Verde IPR, in close collaboration with the national IP offices of the MERCOSUR countries and Chile.

The main topic of this session is the development, implementation, maintenance and governance of Guidelines for examination of trade marks. Objectives include enhancing intellectual property management in Latin America and contributing to improved operational excellence in core IPO processes.

This webinar is part of a series of IPO staff expert-meetings and knowledge exchanges on innovative, customer-oriented business processes and solutions on diverse IPR management topics for IP and/or IT experts of national IP offices in Latin-America.

The activity contributes to expected result (ER) 1: Strengthened Capacity of National and Regional IP Institutions, in particular MERCOSUR countries, for More Efficient and User-Friendly IPR Protection and Enforcement Systems.
