Official launch of AL-INVEST Verde IPR: Conference on the socio-economic importance of IPRs and the challenges of sustainable growth
The objective of this conference in hybrid format is to highlight the socio-economic importance of intellectual property rights (IPR) for innovation and economic development based on studies carried out in the EU and in Latin America.
It will also make use of the opportunity to point out some of the challenges and opportunities that arise from the use of IPRs to achieve major goals such as addressing a sustainable growth path in the region based on innovation and tackling global challenges such as the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, in line with the objectives of the European Green Deal.
In this effort, AL-INVEST Verde IPR brings together its main regional partners, including high-level representatives from the intellectual and industrial property offices of several countries in the region, on a day that marks the official inauguration of the Action at its headquarters in Montevideo, Uruguay.
