EU-RoK IPA
The EU-RoK IP Action is funded and directed by the European Commission, co-funded and implemented by the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO).
The project started on 1 March 2024, with a planned duration of 48 months. Over the last decade, the European Union (EU) and the Republic of Korea (RoK) have developed a strong and successful trade relationship. Developments in technology, intellectual property rights (IPRs), and IP-intensive industries now play a bigger role in trade and investment between these two partners.
The EU-RoK IP Action aims to strengthen cooperation between the EU and Republic of Korea in the areas of IP protection and enforcement, particularly in the digital environment.
The Action will have an important role in shaping IP legal and policy frameworks with regards to emerging technologies and the analysis of possible new challenges related to IP rights where a partnership may be beneficial.
