Digital Modernisation: Paraguay IP Office (DINAPI) IT Diagnosis and Action Plan
AL-INVEST Verde IPR works towards Efficient and Accessible IPR Institutions, strengthening the capacity of national IP administrations, in particular those of MERCOSUR countries and Chile, to improve IPR protection and enforcement systems.
In this context, AL-INVEST Verde IPR initiated the “IPO Digital Modernisation: Paraguay IPO (DINAPI) IT Diagnosis and Action Plan Study”. This study initiates a process of gap analysis and action plans to be performed in the region aiming to reach excellence in customer oriented IT services and quality of processes.
In order to achieve the AL-INVEST Verde IPR objectives, the study includes the outcomes of the following actions:
- Define an IPO technology reference considering the key IPO services-processes and the existing state-of-the-art technologies;
- Analyse the IP management technology requirements of DINAPI in order to achieve the objectives of support to users;
- Identify DINAPI digital transformation priority areas;
- Define an action plan which focuses on the actions needed to overcome all possible technology gaps encountered.
This study could be the precursor of a series of gap analysis and action plan studies to be performed in other IPOs having as a baseline the resulting IPO technology reference.
