Workshop on the classification of goods and services

On 14th July, CarIPI organised a training session in Dutch on trade mark classification, for the Bureau of Intellectual Property of Suriname’s staff and the country’s relevant legal professionals. Knowledge on recent trends in the classification of goods and services for trade mark registration was shared during the session, including the most important features of Nice 2021. The main benefits and characteristics of the TMclass classification tool were also explained.
