Follow-up training course on IP scan services for Sakpatenti staff

On 30 June 2022, Sakpatenti and EUGIPP will organise a follow-up session examining the conclusions of the training course on IP pre-diagnostic (IP scan) services for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) held on 4-5 May 2022. The purpose of the follow-up will be to put into practice what was learned in the previous course and to further discuss how to support SMEs that wish to protect their IP rights.

Over the course of the day, participants will have the opportunity to consolidate their knowledge and to receive further practical explanations of what SMEs can expect from an IP scan. The trainer will collect valuable information from participants, which will be used to assess what is required by Sakpatenti to develop in-house IP scan services. Moreover, the trainer will distribute to Sakpatenti staff other relevant materials, guidelines and practical reference documents to be used as templates to advise Georgian SMEs.

The event is part of the ‘Development of IP Scan services and IP pre-diagnostics for the benefit of SMEs’ activity, which includes a series of actions aiming to create an IP scan service within Sakpatenti.
