Support to the ASEAN IP Academy

In March 2021, the ARISE+ IPR programme launched the online training modules for all the ASEAN Member States and the relevant officials within each IP office on the ARISE+ IPR website and the EUIPO e-learning portal to support the implementation of the ASEAN IP Academy. The feasibility of establishing the ASEAN IP Academy is one of the ASEAN IPR Action Plan 2016-2025’s initiatives. The initiative aimed to provide an integrated learning platform for the ASEAN IP offices’ officials to be fully equipped with all the relevant knowledge and share content between the ASEAN Member States and the European Union Intellectual Property Network (EUIPN) partners.

This activity was based on the feasibility study carried out to consider the establishment of an ASEAN IP Academy under the framework of the first and the second Annual Work Plans, namely the Feasibility study on an ASEAN IP Academy and the Implementation of the recommendations in the ASEAN IP Academy Feasibility Study.
