Awareness-raising on intellectual property rights in the different ASEAN Member States

ARISE+ IPR developed national leaflets to raise awareness on intellectual property rights, with a focus on IPR infringements and enforcement for some interested ASEAN Member States (AMS). The areas covered are ARISE+ IPR’s scope, namely trade marks, industrial designs, and geographical indications. The leaflets are bilingual, that is, in both English and the local language.

The main objective of this activity was to equip the business sectors in each AMS with knowledge on how and where to enforce their intellectual property rights once infringed, including such topics as types of infringements, avenues of enforcement available, enforcement agencies responsible, appropriate approaches, etc.
