Provision of technical assistance to DIP Cambodia and DIP Lao PDR to set up IPR helpdesks/Information centres

Between November 19th -20th of 2018, ARISE+ IPR team organized missions to Lao PDR and Cambodia and meet with representatives of the Intellectual Property Offices in order to support the setting-up of the IPR Helpdesks. The purpose of these meetings was to gather information, set expectations for the help desk project and reached agreements with the respected offices for the proposed structure of the helpdesks. Attending the meetings were ARISE+ IPR Project Management Team, appointed Expert for the project, and the management team members representing Lao and Cambodian IP Offices respectively.

The next step will be the submission of the first draft of the information materials by end of January 2019.
