Roving seminars on the protection of GIs, including branding strategies, quality standards and control systems, especially in the LDCs

A series of seminars is taking place in 6 ASEAN Member States on geographical indications for GI producers and associations, as well as IP officials responsible for GI. The seminars will focus on the importance of registering GIs, how to market them by developing branding strategy, and on adhering to quality standards and complying with control systems: Malaysia: 7 Nov, Myanmar: 13 Nov, Indonesia: 15 Nov, Cambodia: 19 Nov, Lao PDR: 21 Nov, Thailand: 23 Nov
