Mandalay SME representatives to examine international IP practices
Following the success of the “National Seminar on Protecting Brands, Inventions and Designs Overseas” for Myanmar IP officials and SME representatives in Yangon on 12 November, ARISE+ IPR will organise a second seminar in Mandalay on 11 December for stakeholders based in the North of the country.
The seminar will examine the proposed new Myanmar IP laws and their potential implications for SMEs, and how SMEs can protect their IP assets locally and internationally, including through the EU trademark and industrial design systems. The EUIPO and ASEAN online IP databases and tools will also be demonstrated.
