Project Steering Committee Meeting

On 30 November the AfrIPI Project team presented the Annual Work Plan to the Steering Committee. The AWP2 will be carried out from 1 January 2022 to 31 December 2022 and will consist of 4 main objectives: Promoted international agreements in the area of IPR & AfCFTA negotiations, Strengthened national & regional IP institutions, networks, and tools, Strengthened capacities of MSMEs/ productive sector on IP and Support to AU Continental strategy for GIs. This main objectives will be divided in a total of 31 Activities that will take place with the support of local IP Offices and member states of the African Union, OAPI and ARIPO organisations.
