Paraguay joins TMview

The European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) and the National Directorate of Intellectual Property of Paraguay (DINAPI) have successfully concluded the integration of DINAPI’s trade mark data in TMview on 15 December 2025.

This EUIPN flagship tool is the world’s largest free online trade mark search databases. The integration of more than 715 000 trade marks from DINAPI expands the TMview database to now comprising over 136 million trade marks from 81 participating IP offices globally. The integration also makes more than 300 000 trade mark images from the Paraguayan IP office available through TMview’s AI-based image search functionality.

With Paraguay joining the database all MERCOSUR countries are now integrated into TMview, enabling users worldwide to search and access trade mark data from Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay more efficiently. This supports businesses and rights holders in managing and protecting their intellectual property (IP) across borders.

This integration is a tangible result of the cooperation efforts undertaken under the EU-funded AL-INVEST Verde IPR project, following previous integrations into other EUIPO flagship tools for the search, classify and translate of goods and services - TMclass in 2023 and product indications - DESIGNclass in 2024 - and further reinforcing the EUIPO’s Flagship Tools IP Alliance aimed at raising awareness and promoting the use of digital IP tools worldwide.
