SCOPE IPR
The EU-ASEAN Sustainable Connectivity Package aims to advance the partnership between the European Union (EU) and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) on sustainable connectivity in three key areas. One of these components, SCOPE IPR project, seeks to ensure the protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights (IPRs) in the ASEAN countries in line with EU standards and international agreements.
Its specific purpose is to achieve harmonisation and coordination of policy frameworks, regulations and practices on Intellectual Property among ASEAN Member States and EU.
This programme will play an important role in strengthening ties and promoting economic integration between ASEAN countries and the EU, in line with existing EU policies.
