The EUIPO strengthens knowledge of advanced features of TMview and DesignView in Ukraine

On 29 October 2026, the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), in cooperation with the Ukrainian National Office for Intellectual Property and Innovations (UANIPIO), organised an online workshop on the advanced functionalities of TMview and DesignView, in the framework of the EU-funded EU4IP project.

After integrating Ukrainian trade mark and design data into TMview and DesignView, the workshop supported Ukrainian IP stakeholders to make effective use of these two tools and their advanced functionalities. The workshop brought together UANIPIO staff, users and IP attorneys in Ukraine, with a focus on improving IP administration and supporting businesses in carrying out strategic IP searches.

EUIPO experts provided practical presentations on the key functionalities of TMview and DesignView. The workshop also provided an opportunity to discuss the Ukrainian perspective on their experience in using the tools through dedicated question-and-answer sessions.

TMview and DesignView are two of the EUIPO’s flagship tools, providing users with free access to trade mark and design information from participating IP offices. By facilitating access to IP data, these tools contribute to greater transparency and enable businesses, IP professionals and public authorities to conduct more informed searches.

The activity reflects the EUIPO’s continued cooperation with UANIPIO in strengthening the accessibility and effective use of information on IP in Ukraine. The EUIPO continues to support access to reliable IP data through its flagship tools, thus facilitating greater transparency and supporting users and businesses in informed IP decision-making.
