As part of the CarIPI Mentorship Programme, from 14 to 19 March 2022, the project organised the first face-to-face meetings between the mentors and producer groups from Jamaica and Trinidad and Tobago.
Following its first regional workshop to introduce the ‘Common Practices in Trade Mark Examination in the Caribbean’, on 5 April 2022, CarIPI hosted its second workshop. The main aim this time around was to present the practices revolving around the topics of distinctiveness and likelihood of confusion.
