On-demand technical assistance to support the ASEAN IPR Action Plan 2026-2030 implementation

Running from May 2026 to January 2027, this on-demand technical assistance activity provides support to ASEAN Member States (AMS) in implementing priority initiatives under the ASEAN IPR Action Plan 2026-2030.

This initiative is designed to address emerging and time-sensitive needs, delivering targeted support across a wide range of IP areas, including those not initially included in the Annual Work Plan. The type and scope of assistance will be determined based on requests from ASEAN IP Offices to ensure its relevance for national and regional priorities.

This activity contributes to strengthening coordination and joint action in the framework of the new ASEAN IPR Action Plan. This work supports ASEAN’s broader vision of a more resilient, innovative, dynamic and people-centred region by 2045. Requests for support are submitted by AMS and endorsed by the ASEAN Working Group on Intellectual Property Cooperation (AWGIPC) as part of a structured, demand-driven approach.

This reinforces the EUIPO’s commitment to responsive, needs-based cooperation with ASEAN, supporting the effective and timely delivery of IP initiatives across the region.
