Georgian Ministry of Education approves pilot project on intellectual property

On 6th June, the Georgian Ministry of Education gave green light to carry out the activity “IP in Education”, intending to reach over 1000 students all across Georgia. This is the first important step towards the implementation of a pilot project which will integrate intellectual property into Georgian schools curricula.

Workshop on the Hague System in Jamaica

CarIPI collaborated with the World Intellectual Property Office (WIPO) in conducting a sub-regional workshop on the Hague System for the International Registration of Industrial Designs, in Kingston (Jamaica) on 4-5 March 2020. The workshop aimed to build capacities in the region on international design protection. The activity contributed to enhance legal and policy frameworks in the area of designs, a direct goal of the CarIPI project.
