Regional Outreach Programme on IP for Creative Industries in WB6 and Moldova on IP for Creative Industries in WB6 and Moldova

Creative industries are highly dependent on effective intellectual property protection to safeguard creative work, generate revenue and foster innovation. Greater awareness and practical understanding of IP tools can help creative industries across the Western Balkans and the Republic of Moldova maximise the value of their creative assets and support innovation and growth

Against this background, on 29 and 30 September the project will support the organisation of its first regional event bringing together beneficiaries from across the Western Balkans and the Republic of Moldova. The conference will provide a platform for policymakers, creators, businesses and other relevant stakeholders to exchange experiences, share best practices and strengthen regional dialogue on the role of IP in supporting creative industries.

By bringing together beneficiaries from across the region for the first time, the activity will facilitate knowledge transfer, strengthen regional cooperation and promote the use of IP as a tool for economic growth and development in the creative industries.
