Support to legislative alignment with EU acquis in North Macedonia: legal comparative analysis and drafting law amendments/regulations on trade marks

Intellectual property rights protection, particularly of trade marks, is a key factor in fostering economic development, market integration and fair competition.

In line with North Macedonia’s commitments under the EU accession process and relevant trade agreements, this activity aims to support the alignment of national legislation with the EU acquis regarding trade marks.

The activity will focus primarily on analytical and preparatory work, including the definition of terms of reference and the development of guidance for subsequent legislative drafting.
