Ad hoc activities and events

To maximise the delivery of tangible results and ensure sustainable project implementation, the project will provide timely and targeted support to partners as needs arise. These ad hoc actions provide the necessary flexibility to respond effectively to emerging needs and priorities. Support may include facilitating participation in relevant events upon ad hoc invitation, as well as preparing technical and legal inputs or analytical materials requiring specialised expertise.

During AWP 1, the project supported the European Commission in assessing whether Albania’s administrative capacity and intellectual property (IP) enforcement are in line with requirements of Benchmark 3, Chapter 7. The assessment covered a comprehensive overview of the administrative capacity available for the registration of IP rights, the effectiveness and accountability of enforcement systems, and the enforcement record of the customs authorities. It further examined reforms already undertaken and measures planned to strengthen capacity and enforcement.
