Strengthening of judicial and IP enforcement networks and exchange of best practices: participation in the 6th IP Case Law Conference
Target Country: Armenia, Moldova, Ukraine
IPR area: Awareness-raising
International conferences on IP case law and enforcement provide unique opportunities for stakeholders to exchange knowledge on best practices, emerging case law, and effective enforcement strategies. Participation in the IP Case Law Conference enables judges, IP officials and practitioners to gain insights into EU IP jurisprudence and harmonised approaches to enforcement, dispute resolution, and alternative mechanisms such as mediation.
During the inception phase of EU4IP, stakeholders from the beneficiary countries participated in the 5th IP Case Law Conference in 2024, gaining direct access to EU BoA expertise and networking opportunities. This fostered cross-border collaboration, knowledge-sharing and alignment with EU practices. Similar capacity-building efforts were made in 2025 at the EUIPO IP Mediation Conference, with delegates from Moldova and Ukraine attending in person and engaging in discussions on IP dispute resolution, including even the delivery of a presentation.
Building on this experience, participation in the 6th IP Case Law Conference in 2026 will continue to strengthen the professional networks of judges, IP office staff, enforcement authorities, and legal practitioners, supporting better enforcement and judicial decision-making in line with EU standards.
