Ad hoc support for the copyright experts from Moldova and Ukraine to participate in the conference on copyright in Alicante

The European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), in cooperation with the European Commission, hosted a two-day high-level conference on copyright from 20-21 November 2025 at its headquarters in Alicante. The event brought together EU institutions, policymakers, national intellectual property (IP) offices, copyright experts and representatives from the cultural and creative sectors to celebrate copyright in the European Union and reflect on the latest policy challenges in the field.

In the context of the EU-funded EU4IP project, copyright experts from the State Agency on Intellectual Property of the Republic of Moldova (AGEPI), and the Ukrainian National Office for Intellectual Property and Innovations (UANIPIO) participated in the conference. Their presence fostered exchanges with peers from across the EU, strengthened regional cooperation, and supported the alignment of copyright frameworks with European Union standards.
