Exploring Mediation as a Tool for IP Dispute Resolution in Southeast Asia

Held on 24 March 2025, the IP Mediation Seminar brought together intellectual property professionals, business representatives and policymakers from across Southeast Asia to explore how mediation can serve as an effective and efficient alternative to litigation in resolving IP disputes.

This online seminar was organised under the SCOPE IPR project, implemented by the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) in collaboration with the ASEAN Secretariat. The session forms part of the project’s broader efforts to support ASEAN Member States in strengthening IP systems and promoting sustainable and accessible dispute resolution mechanisms in the region.
