Public Awareness Raising on Madrid and Hague Agreements

Activity 1 focuses on promoting the Madrid and Hague Agreements to the ASEAN Member States (AMS) during their pre- and post-accession phases. It aims to highlight the benefits and practical information about these international systems, encouraging their use for trade mark and industrial design registration.

Targeting ASEAN IP offices, officials, small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and key stakeholders, the initiative aims to expand the understanding and use of these systems. The activity supports Strategic Goal 4 of the 2016-2025 ASEAN IPR Action Plan, which is a regional mechanism to promote asset creation and commercialisation.
