Technical Assistance Meetings with Producer Groups in Grenada and St. Vincent & the Grenadines

From 12 to 16 February 2024, CarIPI organised face-to-face meetings between mentors and producer groups from Grenada and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, which have been selected to take part in the second phase of the project’s Mentorship Programme.

During the technical assistance meetings, the IP expert followed up with select producer groups and stakeholders of origin-linked products in the CARIFORUM member states to obtain detailed information and develop effective systems to protect, promote, and market IP assets associated with Origin-Linked-Product(s).

On 16 February, CarIPI also hosted a hybrid session on Blue Economy and intellectual property targeting producer groups participating in the Mentorship Programme under both cohorts (1 and 2).

The programme’s objective is to enhance the competitiveness of unique agricultural and non-agricultural products produced in the CARIFORUM region.
