CarIPI celebrates World IP Day with CARIFORUM intellectual property offices

In celebration of World IP Day on 26 April 2023, for which the theme is ‘Women and IP: accelerating innovation and creativity’, CarIPI will collaborate with different CARIFORUM national intellectual property (IP) offices to promote all their activities during IP Week.

In addition, CarIPI will also launch a video series showcasing female entrepreneurs in the Caribbean who use IP to protect their businesses. The videos will be available on our social media channels.

Established by the World Intellectual Property Organization in 2000, World IP Day is celebrated annually on 26 April to increase IP awareness. It is an opportunity to highlight the role that IP rights play in encouraging innovation and creativity in the world of business.
