ARISE+ IPR joins the ASEAN-EU Cooperation Expo 2022

The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and the European Union (EU) celebrate the 45th anniversary of the establishment of Dialogue Relations with the ASEAN-EU Cooperation Expo 2022 from 6 May 2022 until the end of the year. The Expo, which is held on a virtual event platform, will highlight ASEAN-EU cooperation, including the organisation of a series of events where ASEAN-EU projects are invited to participate as exhibitors. It is open to the public.

In this event, ARISE+ IPR set up a virtual booth in the Expo section providing information on intellectual property (IP) rights, which includes trade marks, industrial designs, and geographical indications. As IP is a key driver of economic growth in ASEAN, this booth aims to help visitors of all ages to understand more about the importance of IP and how IP protection will enhance their potential and benefit their businesses in the long run.

The booth also provides materials and useful resources that can be downloaded in English and in ASEAN’s local languages, as well as provide information on upcoming IP events organised by ARISE+ IPR. Participants are welcome to use the chat box to engage with ARISE+ IPR experts and ask questions related to IP.
