Ad hoc support at Ukraine’s leading IP and innovation forum

The European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) co-organised and participated in the fourth National Forum on Intellectual Property and Innovation – IP LET Forum 2025. The event titled ‘Intellectual Property: Law, Economy, Technology’ took place on 27 November in Kyiv, Ukraine. 

João Negrão, Executive Director of the EUIPO, delivered a video address at the opening session, reaffirming the EUIPO’s commitment to supporting Ukraine’s innovation system and IP environment.

The EUIPO launches the Copyright Knowledge Centre at a high-level conference

The European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), in cooperation with the European Commission, hosted a two-day high-level conference on copyright from 20-21 November 2025 at its headquarters in Alicante, Spain. The event brought together EU institutions, policymakers, national intellectual property (IP) offices, copyright experts and representatives from the cultural and creative sectors to celebrate copyright in the EU and reflect on the latest policy challenges in the field.

EUIPO brings Moldova and Ukraine into global discussions at IP Mediation Conference 2025

The European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) organised the 2025 IP Mediation Conference on 16 and 17 October in Malta, gathering judges, lawyers, business leaders and intellectual property (IP) experts from around the world. The event, held under the theme ‘Unlocking the Power of Mediation: A Pathway to Efficient and Sustainable IP Dispute Resolution’, highlighted the transformative potential of mediation and other alternative dispute resolution (ADR) mechanisms in addressing today’s IP challenges.

Ad hoc support for Moldovan and Ukrainian customs

The European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), in the framework of the EU-funded EU4IP project, organised a study visit to Croatia from 30 September to 2 October 2025 for customs officials from the Republic of Moldova, and Ukraine. The visit aimed to strengthen cross-border cooperation and alignment with EU standards in the enforcement of intellectual property (IP).
