We are pleased to announce that the ‘International Seminar on Trade Mark Infringement for Judges from MERCOSUR and Chile’, which has now concluded, was a great success.
The webinar "Successful Intellectual Property Strategies in the Horizon Europe Programme: Cooperation Opportunities for Latin American and Caribbean Countries", that was held on 23 May, is now available in our Learning Portal.
It was jointly organised by AL-INVEST Verde DPI and the Uruguayan Agency for International Cooperation (AUCI).
On 12 May 2023, Argentina is set to join DesignClass. From that point forward Argentina will begin to accept the Harmonised Database of Product Indications (HDBPI) list of terms in DesignClass.
As of 08 May 2023, the National Directorate of Intellectual Property of the Republic of Paraguay (DINAPI) will use and accept the terms from the alphabetical list of Nice in Spanish in TMclass.
The new incorporation of DINAPI in TMclass brings the total number of participating national and regional IP offices, including ARIPO, OAPI, WIPO and the EUIPO, to 95.
