Uganda Registration Services Bureau (URSB) officially joined the TMclass and DesignClass on 3 August 2020, after confirmation by the European Union Intellectual Property Organisation (EUIPO). TMclass offers users the opportunity to search and translate goods and services to and from any of the 44 languages available, while the DesignClass enables search and translation of product indications in 28 languages.
AfrIPI is an international cooperation project funded and directed by the European Union, co-funded and implemented by the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO). It has an initial duration of 5 years starting from February 2020.
This section offers a repository of relevant publications, frameworks, treaties and laws in the Pan African region and its member states.
The project fully subscribes to the policy framework set up by all existing EU, AU and EU-Africa development and cooperation strategies, and contributes to their key objectives.
