Technical visit to the Bureau of Intellectual Property of Suriname

From 28 November to 2 December 2022, CarIPI organised a technical a visit to Suriname to present the new draft legislation on Design to the Intellectual Property Office of Suriname, Ministry of Economic Affairs, Entrepreneurship and Technological Innovation, and any relevant stakeholders, such as legal drafters and ministry staff. This is to ensure that legislation and recommendations are implemented once delivered.

The CARIFORUM Intellectual Property Rights and Innovation Project (CarIPI) has just published four new intellectual property (IP) documents as part of Activity 3 of its third Annual Work Plan: Case studies and promotion of opportunities for research cooperation, to keep raising awareness on IP tools in the Caribbean.
