EUIPO has published a Call for Expression of Interest to compile a list of vendors interested in providing independent and specialised expertise on IP rights.
The ARISE+ IPR is a beneficiary-driven project administered by the EUIPO and the ASEAN Working Group on IP Cooperation. ARISE+ IPR supports the advancement of Intellectual property rights in the ASEAN region since 2018. This project was possible thanks to the hard work and commitment from the Intellectual Property offices from Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Lao PDR, Thailand, Viet Nam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, and Singapore, and the ASEAN Secretariat.
On 15 March 2023, ARISE+ IPR hosted the 6th sub-Project Steering Committee (sub-PSC) Meeting and Conference on Regional Intellectual Property Systems in Bohol, the Philippines, as part of the 69th meeting of the ASEAN Working Group on Intellectual Property Cooperation (AWGIPC), which took place on 14-17 March, 2023.
ARISE+ IPR has launched an online guidebook to help micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in the ASEAN region understand the importance of intellectual property (IP) protection. Many businesses in the region have only partial knowledge of the benefits of IP protection, which can be a major hindrance to their growth and success. The Guidebook on Regional IP Management for SMEs in ASEAN aims to raise awareness and provide practical information on IP protection and related issues.
