Korea–EU Copyright Round Table (CRT)

The EU–RoK IP Action supported the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MCST) and the Korean Copyright Commission (KCC) in organising the Korea EU Copyright Round Table (CRT), held on 16 June in Seoul.

The round table brought together experts from the EU and Korea to explore copyright challenges arising from artificial intelligence (AI), with a focus on recent policy and regulatory developments in both regions. 

This initiative fosters greater mutual understanding between relevant authorities regarding the evolving copyright landscape in the context of AI, aiming to strengthen cooperation and promote more robust and harmonised copyright frameworks in both jurisdictions.
