CARIFORUM representatives participate in the IP Case Law Conference 2022

CarIPI supported the participation of CARIFORUM representatives from the Intellectual Property Offices and judicial bodies in the IP Case Law Conference at the EUIPO premises in Alicante during 7 and 8 July 2022.

This event is organised by the Boards of Appeal of the EUIPO in cooperation with the EUIPO Academy on a biannual basis, and was held this year in hybrid format.

The EUIPO-IP Case Law Conference addressed the current global challenges facing the IP community in fields such as health, fashion, the environment, artificial intelligence, the automotive world and the food industry. Expert panels, including lawmakers, judges, academics, lawyers and representatives from leading IP offices, met and considered the challenges and developments that lie ahead in IP case-law and legislation.
