Seminar on Public–Private Cooperation on IP Enforcement in the EU and Korea

This seminar brought together European and Korean public authorities and industry representatives - including rights holders and digital platforms - to explore challenges and practical solutions in online IP enforcement across both regions. The discussions focused on assessing existing public–private enforcement initiatives to enhance mutual learning and strengthen collaborative approaches.

Discussions covered:

  • Industry expectations and priorities in IP protection,
  • Legal and operational boundaries for joint action,
  • Best practices in public–private cooperation,
  • Case studies of successful enforcement models to facilitate mutual learning.

The dialogue highlighted the importance of coordinated action among authorities, rights holders, and digital platforms to effectively combat IP infringements and address evolving challenges in the digital environment.
