Stakeholder consultations on project status and planning
The EU–CARIFORUM Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA) calls for strong institutions, coordinated action, and effective monitoring. Continuous stakeholder engagement is essential to ensure alignment, ownership and responsiveness to the activities of CarIPI, just as structured consultations strengthen coordination, transparency and planning for future work programmes. As a new activity under the Annual Work Programme (AWP2), CarIPI will therefore hold two Project Steering Committee meetings (mid-term and end-of-year), develop recommendations from each meeting, and provide regular online updates to CARIFORUM National Coordinators and Intellectual Property Offices (IPOs). These meetings will serve as a platform to gather stakeholder feedback, which will later be integrated into AWP3 planning to ensure coherence with EPA commitments and regional development priorities.
