Training on assessment of likelihood of confusion in opposition proceedings for Haiti

On 14 November 2023, the CARIFORUM Intellectual Property Rights and Innovation project hosted an online training session for Haiti on the assessment of likelihood of confusion in opposition proceedings and TMclass.

The training session was aimed at trade mark examiners from the Legal Affairs Directorate of the Ministry of Trade and Industry to strengthen their technical capacities and skills in trade mark examination, with particular focus on opposition proceedings.

This was followed by a training session on 23 November 2023, on TMclass, a tool that will help Haitian examiners check the correct classification of trade mark applications.
