Online workshop for teacher coordinators and Sakpatenti

From 5 to 7 November, the European Union Georgia Intellectual Property Project (EUGIPP) organised the first of a cycle of three workshops for teacher coordinators and Sakpatenti staff representatives. Due to the current situation and for the participants’ health and safety, the session took place virtually.

Over the 3 days, more than 30 participants were provided with materials, tools and learning methods to train their students on intellectual property rights. To complete the cycle, two more sessions will take place in the coming weeks.

The workshops are part of the initiative ‘Creativity and IP in Georgian schools’, which intends to reach out to over 1 000 Georgian students during the forthcoming academic year.

The EUGIPP, with the support of the Ideaspowered@school initiative, produced learning materials in Georgian, which are available, together with the workshop’s agenda, on the EUGIPP web page dedicated to this activity.
