In line with the theme “IP and Youth”, Ms. Claire Castel, Head of the IP in the digital world and awareness service of the EUIPO’s Observatory on Infringements of IPRs, will present the initiative of Ideas Powered for youth and IP in Schools during the Intellectual Property Career Corner Session: “Create, Animate, Innovate”.

The event is open to everyone interested in career opportunities in the field of Intellectual Property. Participants are invited to join the session at 10:30 a.m. AST / 5:00 p.m. CET via ZOOM (passcode 991946).

In addition to this activity, CarIPI will also promote other events happening in the different countries of the CARIFORUM region in the margins of the IP Week.

World IP Day, established by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in 2000, is celebrated every 26 April to increase intellectual property (IP) awareness. It is an opportunity to highlight the role that IP rights play in encouraging innovation and creativity. The theme this year is “IP and Youth: Innovating for a Better Future.”
