Second workshop on the common practices in trade mark examination

Following its first regional workshop to introduce the ‘Common Practices in Trade Mark Examination in the Caribbean’, on 5 April 2022, CarIPI hosted its second workshop. The main aim this time around was to present the practices revolving around the topics of distinctiveness and likelihood of confusion.

After the presentation, the 16 CARIFORUM IP Offices exchanged views and defined the next steps towards working on developing common practices for the region.
