Informal meeting with Dominican Republic’s producers of origin link products

As part of the CarIPI Mentorship Programme, which provides technical support to selected producer groups of origin-linked products, on 26 November the project’s team met with the producer groups of Origin Link Products from the Dominican Republic to gather further information and better plan their engagement in this program.

This informal discussion helped to see what the best approach is to fit in the mentorship program which overall objective is to build capacity among producer groups in CARIFORUM States to develop and manage quality schemes associated with their origin-linked products, and to effectively market their products in target markets.
