Creativity and IP in School: regional meeting

On 20 February the CarIPI project organised an online consultation meeting with CARIFORUM IP Offices and Ministries of Education to present the results of the work carried out under this activity, namely a regional strategy to introduce IP in primary and secondary schools of CARIFORUM and the material for teachers and students based on the EUIPO’s ideaspowered@school project and adapted to the Caribbean context.

This activity builds on the experience from CARIFORUM members states such as Antigua and Barbuda, Trinidad and Tobago, and Jamaica, which are conducting similar initiatives. Since the start of this project activity, multiple consultations have been carried out with CARIFORUM IP Offices and Ministries of Education of the Member States. In recent workshops CarIPI provided focused groups of teachers with an overview of the materials created by the EUIPO’s Ideas Powered@School project and a demonstration of how IP principles can be incorporated into the classroom.
