Study Launch: Contribution of IPR Intensive industries to the economy – Brazil

Impact study on the economic contribution of intellectual property intensive industries in Brazil and the economic contributions of climate change mitigation technologies (CCMT) patents to the Brazilian economy

Objective: to assess the contribution of IPR-intensive industries to the Brazilian economy and to raise awareness about the economic importance of green patents. The study is headed by IPKEY Latin America and is meant to complete pre-existing initiatives of this project. The studies will provide specific information on the economic importance of climate change mitigation technologies (CCMTs) ([1]).
