About the Event
Under the EU4IP action, the roundtable workshop on the ‘Collective Management of Copyrights in the Republic of Moldova’ aims to bring together European experts and local stakeholders to discuss and enhance the practices of collective copyright management. This event is a key component of the efforts to strengthen the legal and institutional framework for intellectual property in Moldova. It aligns with the commitments made through the Association Agreement and the European Union accession process.

Key Responsibilities:
The first Project Steering Committee meeting of the EU4IP project will take place for its members to review the first Work Plan that will run for a period of 18 months until December 2025.
EUIPO has published a Call for Expression of Interest to compile a list of vendors interested in providing independent and specialised expertise on IP rights.
On 29-30 April, a delegation of selected IP experts and officials, including judges and lawyers from Georgia, the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine, will visit the premises of the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) in Alicante. Participation of these representatives to the 5th IP Case Law Conference (IPCLC 2024) organised by the EUIPO Boards of Appeal is facilitated by the EU4IP project.
